Threat actors have allegedly leaked a database containing sensitive information related to Tesla’s electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
The breach, reportedly affecting over 116,000 individuals, was disclosed on a popular dark web forum by cybercriminals operating under the aliases ‘IntelBroker’, ‘EnergyWeaponUser’, and ‘Wired’.
The leaked data is said to include personal information such as full names, locations, payment details, vehicle identification numbers (VIN), and vehicle models.
Sensitive Data Exposed
According to reports from ThreatMon, the leaked database contains critical details about Tesla EV owners and their charging stations.

The breach allegedly includes approximately 116,000 rows of information, affecting users across the Middle East and the United Arab Emirates.
The compromised data reportedly includes:
- Full names of Tesla EV owners
- Locations of charging stations
- Payment information
- Vehicle VIN numbers
- Vehicle make and model
The threat actors further claim that the breach involves a third-party development company responsible for hosting and maintaining information on Tesla’s EV charging stations.
This raises concerns about the security practices of external vendors handling sensitive customer data.
Impact on Middle East and UAE
The breach appears to have a significant impact on Tesla customers in the Middle East, particularly in the United Arab Emirates.
With the growing adoption of electric vehicles in the region, this incident could undermine consumer trust in Tesla’s ability to secure its infrastructure and customer data.
The exposure of payment information and vehicle details poses potential risks of identity theft, financial fraud, and even physical security concerns for affected individuals.
Tesla has yet to issue an official statement regarding the breach or confirm whether the leaked data is authentic.
